different posting regulations
« on: Mar 20, 2004, 05:50 AM »
i was fishing sterling creek a few years back. i decided to go between the bridge and the dam to fish. there was a posted sign in the middle of the creek so i stayed in the water  thinking i was ok fishing there. the  owner came down and very rudely asked about my vision and if i could read or not. i told him to you know what. he waited till i was done fishing and followed me to my van and wrote down my license number. after a few more pleasantrys, he tucked his tail and slitthered back to his shack. some time later the d.e.c. cop came all the way to syracuse to my house and issued me a ticket for tresspassing. i fought it but still ended up paying 25$ anyways. i still fish there but i think the butthead moved!!!!!!!!!!

I would have thrown the sign at him and then thrown him in the water!

Why should he care if you are IN THE WATER FISHING!

As you can tell this post has touched a nerve!
