Actually, we used bead chain swivels and they worked very well.  They aren't as expensive as the sampos and you don't get any twist in the main line at all.

my 2 cents....SPRO makes some really awesome ball bearing swivels...in my opionion they are even better than the sampos which I have used for years.........
