id like to do some trolling for walleyes in erie. what is a good speed?

Never trolled for eyes but lots for trout and bass, I like to troll just fast enough to make the blades spin on the spinners and just fast enough for crankbaits to wiggle....in other words...slow  :)

As slow as you can go while maintain proper action in your lure. The speed varies with the lure.

Worm harness slow, spoons 1.0 to 2.0 mph, cranks baits up to 5mph.

this is some books out there that have info on trolling such as using lead line, different types of cranks with different presentations, how deep they will run, etc. i'm not sure the names of them but have heard talk of them before. any one know?
