Just heard from the battery company.
The battery is officially lost by FedEx.
They will start production on a replacement for us next Monday.
Now the wait.
Again.

Guy said they are only getting $100 from FedEx for the lost battery claim.
I cannot believe a company would ship something like this without the insurance.
Crazy!

Everything works well
The Amish Outfitters planer boards are still running too far aft.
Frank sent me some keels to add but he had me move they eyebolts and try that first.  That helped a little but not enough.
I’ll add the keels.
No fish yet.

Well, there’s your trip for the year. Better find something else to fix on it.

Looks nice on the big O.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Spent many years trolling the lake with my friend Bob. He had a 24’ Chapparal kept at various locations between Rochester and Buffalo. He was aging and couldn’t   handle the boat alone. I never liked trolling. Seemed a waste of time and energy. But, I did it because he was my fishing mentor. Taught me to catch perch and many other species. Where to go, when to go and how to fish.

We did every tournament on Lake O. and Seneca for more years than I can count. I miss him....don’t miss trolling that way.

Mac is that a Kipawa prop and what's your opinion on it? Sorry, if you already mentioned this, but if you did I missed it.

Yea, it’s a kipawa
Nothing to compare it to as I never installed the stock prop.
It’s supposedly a better prop for more low end thrust and control.
But the reports show it generated more current (heat) at top end and then fries the control board.
Minn Kota won’t cover the warranty when using the kipawa.
So most guys swap back over to the stock prop when they take it in.
I’m never going to use mine at top end.  More than likely never be over the 5 or 6 setting.
