with a solid day of fishing on the Main Branch of the Hoosic today.
I tried two different spots between 11 AM and 12 noon.
The weather was chilly (about 38 degrees), and overcast (although it cleared up a bit toward the end) and windy.
First, I fished just above the Ashton Avenue bridge in North Adams, and landed a 10" and a 12" brown.
Then I drove to Williamstown and fished behind the former Spruces Mobile Home Park, where (on my third attempt) I managed to reel in a 14" rainbow.
