Since last Saturday, I have been out fishing seven times - - once (today) on the Main Branch, twice on the North Branch and four times (including today) on the South Branch.
After a virtually fishless April, and a slow start to May, the signs are encouraging.
Each time that I've gone over the past week, I caught at least one fish.
They've been mostly) browns, with a couple rainbows and one errant brookie on the South Branch, but exclusively rainbows on the other two.
Today - - a beautiful, sunny day, with temps around 80 - - I managed a rainbow on the Main Branch and five browns on the South Branch.
So, hopefully, current trends persist and "the bite" continues to improve.

Looking forward to coming to visit Jim!

Nice to hear the fish are biting and the weather is nice.
I'll be in Mass in June fishing my old stomping grounds and enjoying time away from home with the wife and elderly parent issues. Also looking forward to fresh seafood!
