Let's see some of the monster Carp you have caught. I'll start it off with a 36", 25 pounder I caught in the Juniata River last year on 6 pound test. Hopefully, I'll have a few more to post later this year.

Fastribs if you fish the delaware river above trenton fish at or between any of the bridge pillars preferably around the slower current ones.  Use a couple of kernals of corn on a #2 hook with just enough split shot to keep it a few inches from the bottom and hang on. also throw a couple handfuls of corn behind the boat.  There are some monsters around these pillars. Also slower bends in the river and behind or to the slack side of islands. The pillars around the New Hope 202 and stockten bridge are hot in the summer.

I tried the berkley carp powerbait last year, but didn't catch anything with it.
Don't know if I gave it a fair try though. The couple carp that I did catch were on earthworms.

Nice Fish!

Shall we look in the recipes section ??? for what you did with him, or did you kiss the fish and release?

Reelcharacter,
I release all the carp that I catch. I would like to catch them later when they are even bigger. If they tasted as good as walleye or perch, then maybe I'd keep a few.

This pig was roped on the Susquehanna River near my HQ Tunkhannock, PA. The fish was almost 40", I never weighed it. Made a lifetime supply of sour carp for catfishin' outa this sucker I did. My guess 30lbs. By the way this one hit a 1/4 oz jig w/yellow twister tail. Put up a fight worthy of an attack submarine.
