Grayling in the slough
« on: May 13, 2007, 01:46 PM »
Anyone interested in trying a little grayling fishing within the confines of Badger or any of the other local sloughs, shouldn't be disappointed!  I managed to hook around 20 fish in 1 1/2 hours out of the mouth of Badger slough.  Some of the fish were decent going up to 17".  Beadhead nymphs in green worked well, along with ANY small dry fly in black, mosquito pattern.  Didn't snap any pictures due to the nasty on and off weather and bank conditions, (left the camera behind.) ;)
