caught 4 different species of fish yesterday. excellent day with little to no wind. fishing was non stop with fluke, sea bass, scup and finished off the day with about 2 dozen bluefish around the 3-4 lb mark. (i thought the bluefish would have been bigger this time of the year). there were big pods of bait and not as many people as i thought for the holiday. 1 keeper fluke out of about 12. met a happy couple with a very impressive 9 lb fluke. seeing that made me fish a little harder.
