Only took 6 months to convince me to buy it ::)
The main body parts are Delrin. Post is aluminum, 2 good sized ball bearings, jaws are hardened steel with a 10:1 clamp force ratio. Most vises are in the area of 4:1.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Thought ya might like to see the new vise.

So far I really like it. I can bend a #2 hook in a circle and it doesn't budge in the jaws. The rotary function is extremely smooth and the adjustments are all simple/stupid. Even I can understand how they work.

It gets my seal of approval as a real bargain on a great tool ;D

The bluegills kept trying to eat it and one largemouth did eat it ;D.

I'm  thinking of downsizing a few for gills. The old reliable white spider out produced everything today.

I decided to dust off the old Diamondback and throw a few flies today. I went to a local pond and fooled around for an hour or so. As I haven't used the fly rod in a few years, it took a while to get the rhythm down but managed to have some fun with some small gills, sunnies and crappies.

Yes, I am an old f--t.

Anti Bass??.....Not sure there is such a thing. Seems a bass will eat what ever doesn't eat it first....

Where I was I have NEVER seen a bass caught. That's one reason I went there.
