snag  ??? we are sportsman up here there is no such thing as snagging up here.  we lift the rod in slow motion and wait for that suttle pull then YANK to set the hook and sometimes twice just to make sure that hook is buried.  ;D ;D ::) ::)

As usual I didn't get my streamers tied. Had guys with their bows here most of the week.
Couple just to shoot the bull and have me move their rest a little for the broadheads.
Couple for serving, new peeps, general check up of their bow...
Going to try one last trip tomorrow on the boat, then fog it and put her away.
Bow season is here, bear open today. So fishing will get pushed back a bit. Until ice season!!!

Well, I'm just getting started  ;D

Today is my personal "opening day" of perch season. I'm headed to my favorite perch lake, the weather looks to be cooperating and I'm anxious

I even have some new perch fly patterns to try.

What a great day! :thumbup_smilie:

25 perch, 30 big sunfish...my perch flies did their job :clapping:

All were in the 30 - 50 fow range. Looks like they're stoking up on shrimp.

Game on!

I can catch carp anywhere ::)

I know you guys have a ton of fun hauling those big bruisers in. I fished the tribs for browns, salmon and steelhead for many years. I never liked crowds...and still don't.

yep same here do not like crowds at all believe me. we stayed a way from the people and are stay was short lived. my focus this year is with the center pin and trout when i am on either river end of story. actually i would rather be on the lake catching perch. i have an itch for a huge brown on the CP i have to take care of though ::) i qa long with CPG have a lot of years under our belt on that river. But now the crowds get to me so my stay this early in the season will be short until october.  ;D

Awesome work man!
This may be a stupid question, but...How do you work them through the column? Do you drop shot them?
The angle of the dangle is directly proportionate to the heat of the beat.
