Oh, I still bring 30 pounds of jigs. Just realized I dont NEED them... Well maybe for balast. Yeah thats just what I need.

dark  nice idea  i have  at least 20  single  action  flyreels  setting around!.... i  like  the 3 inch ht  circle reels  in shallow water  .....  as fr as  ice fishing ...what a  place to use some weighted nymphs!!!! .....shhhhh  loose tied  hares  ear

Flies dont work through the ice... ... only been pounding fish with them for about 30 years... but they dont work...    

Chose a reel that you can silence the clicking. Wouldnt want the opportunist type honeing in on that sound, lol

usefull posts you will not see many of those with you guys anyway ( you know my freinds  ) i try to be- have for the most part. Me and Trapper will see you at the show i think. i have not told him that we are going yet thats all.

Aaaahhhhh, the ol Big gay Bay pirate lift. Can you put a fish in your pail without barely flinching or lifting off the bucket more than 5/8ths of an inch? And how bout the "pirate glare" - you know the look you get on the bay if you catch a fish withing 20 yards of someone.  

Gammas the only novice around here. Since the internet and his new recliner his icetime is almost nil...

i  bet i'll  be  the  first  one  on the  ice  lol  and i  just  as  soon  as  fish out  of  the  boat ....  thats  ok  good  perch  bite  going  ,walleyes  are  on  fire  ,and  the  gills  are  staged  on a feed  and   people  are  worried  about  big  bay ....i love  it  ...ht  the  slim jims  are  awesome!

Trap - I hope your the first safely on the ice... but if you are then i'll be a close second. Last year I got on the 15th and the year before the 5th of dec. It gets cold in the valleys down here
