Any "Old Farts" left over here?

Same old...same old over at IS :-\

What's on the fly bench? I'm working on Cahills, Catskill style.

Hey JR,
I got "Woody " in the mail the other day. Thanks!

I'm gonna skin him out next week when I'm on vacation. I've been studying up on how to treat him to best preserve the feathers. It'll be a nice addition to my materials collection.

I may be old, but not too old to get up at 1:30 am to go to work :-\

I have to work on some lights at a YMCA early this morning. I need to be out of the gym by 7am....before the obsessed housewives and workout geezers show up.

Last day before vacation though......I'm good with that ;D

Well, Back to work today.
Funny, I didn't mind. I think the owner actually missed me. He was nice all day (a rarity).

I ice fished a ton, spent plenty of time tying flies for spring and plain old relaxed. I got to fish with HT and Chiefcatchemall.....in a blizzard and  spent as couple of days with my good friend "The Old Man".

Had a few really good catches of perch and bluegills. All in all, a great bit of time off.

I think he's still hiding out on "Lake X". I should have a package going your way this week. Gonna hit Bass Pro for some materials today. Need beads ;D

"Woody" is still on ice. I've been researching just how to handle him best.

Won't be long now ;D

The streams are getting a good flushing right now, just a few weeks and I'll be tromping them in earnest. Till then, the boat is ready at the first sign of  an ice free launch.
