No you wouldn't. I would probably just sit there and listen and get so much info on fly fishing and all sorts of fly fishing things it would be great!!!!!!!

Took Lehigh Valley out with the flyrods today. This was his first Broadhead trout on the fly. Beadhead pheasant tails are king there

I'm soooooo jealous! Can't even get near a stream around my neck of the woods. Now I see Cayuga County has banned boating due to the high water levels.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Dad and I headed south this morning with the flyrods. We skipped around and covered some ground and ran into about 15 trout. Brookies, browns, and rainbows...
The silver haired one got his best brookie ever. Obvously a stocked "breeder" from when they stocked back in the begining of march. She jumped all over a minnow Tank was working with the flyrod.  8)
We hit 3 diff creeks and only saw one other person wetting a line...
18 inches!

Any of you old or young folks getting out with the flyrod???
Spent dome time this weeknd down to our camp on the Delaware. Enough bug activity to get some trout active. Nothing like those wild fish on a flyrod!

heading down to Pepacton cabins (Downsville,NY) to fish the east branch of the Delaware, the Willo and the beaverkill from Monday until next Sunday. Hope there is enough water. ??? ??? ??? With all this rain in Rochester, lets hope it doesn't completely foul-up the streams down there. At least down there I have a variety of places to get wet!May get over to the Neversink as well but if all else fails there is always the reservoir's from shore. Chest waders and rain rear are all working well but may need scuba gear the way it looks. There is always the old standby, playing gin rummy and drinking booze. Should be fun. Wish me luck!
