I was down through the Southern Tier today and the streams are chocolate milk. I managed a few trout yesterday in a back yard honey hole as the water was rising. Opted for the old "#6 red wiggler" and rooster tails.  ;D

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

YES DAD!!, LOL! A customer had a basement that caved in two walls. We removed a 16' x 24' deck, jacked up the house, excavated, completely removed the walls, installed new walls, drainage and now waiting for backfill. The rain today has made the soil junk and now have to wait to finish backfill, grading and seeding. Then I have to build a new deck and pour a 16' x 20' Stampcrete concrete pad. I think I'll wait for the other work to be done....maybe 3-4 weeks, just to make sure all soil has been compacted in place!! ;) I do have work for the rest of the week....thought maybe a PLAY HOOKEY day was in order!! ;D--KP 8)

ARgghh, yes I am seeing the effects water levels contribute to my catch ratio. Although, I do realize that it becomes a simple matter of adjusting and overcoming that barrier. I'm working on that gent's, when I get back on track.....you will all be the first to know.

Yeah, hope you don't have to make a quick get away H2L!!! Champlain is still rising, never got below record levels even when it was going down.

That said....anyone have a friend named Noah????????
