I heard he has a navigation problem. Last time out he ended up on a mountain in Turkey. He was headed for Miami :-\

Streams are blown out down here. I tied up some wooly buggers for some trout on a local lake. I have some gray ghost I might try too. Don't do much fly fishing on lakes ,but I will give it a try. ;)
wooo fish on. Never mind

We got yet another 1/2" of rain yesterday. I'll be trolling my back yard if this doesn't let up soon :-\

Jr. and I took a ride to one of our streams yesterday. And he scored his first trout, Brookie on the fly!!! :clapping: After losing a few right off the start, he patiently kept after them. We didn't get a picture of it, he was so excited that when the fish started flopping in his hands, the fish had other plans!! He said, " That's OK Dad, I'll have the picture for the rest of my life in my mind." Amazing how fast he learns and picks up on things. ;) Great day as always fishing with my Lil Buddy!!

RG, He'll be ready soon....... ;) :whistling:

Those times and stories of those times always bring a smile.

Way to go Jr.  Both on the fish and the lessons your learning from a good outdoors-man.
Congrats to you both!!
