Sorry Trap, but the whole snagging thing is a disgrace. That's all they're doing....snagging. I guess I've had a problem with it since the 70's when the slugs would rip 3oz weighted trebles with 50 lb and surf rods. A bit more technical now...but still the same.

Real trash fishing.

That is awesome RG.

Camping at Brennan's this past weekend gave my family plenty of close up's of almost tame squirrels, skunks, and chipmunks.

I know a piece of woods that holds some flying squirrels and another that has a population of black squirrels. They're next on my list. The stream behind my house is really shut down now. It's funny how these warm water streams just turn off when the temps drop. I took the new (old) Fenwick down to one of my spots last night. No takers, but the rod is a joy. I have a feeling my glass rod collection is gong to grow.

It's been an interesting year of fly fishing for me. It started with a state of the art, high tech 3wt and ended with a 50 year old bamboo and a 40 year old ferrelite glass rod. One thing's for sure.....I need to build a rod rack :-\ (maybe a reel rack too)
