hey  at  least  someone  got  fish!!!!  nice  job!  between high water that  looks  like  chocolate  milk  and  this  cold  front  i'm  doing  very little ...keep up  the  good work!

Tank and I got out again this morning and found a bunch of fish... 8)
I was downstream but got back in time to get this sequence of picts...
"I just got 2 and missed one in that tiny middle seam of the fast water"

Need to reach out a tad further...

No good place to land em equals airborne trout...

This one will eat...

Oh yeah, one of the earlier ones I got was a slob!


This pict was to show the awesomeness of a 9ft fly rod on a tiny stream. I reached in to that little pocket with a foot of line out and yoked out 2 brookies. No 5ft ultralite was gonna work there  8)

fished  my local  lake  last  night  with little  success  but i noticed  swallows  and a  few  flies  on the water   ;D i'm  sure  after todays  a  foam  spider  will be  the ticket  for  gill and white perch fun ;D

Geez Trapper.....wonder what the kid needs now :-\  And...I don't mean Josh ;D

I'm in the throws of refurbishing my good old Johnson 30hp. I have it in pieces in the garage and just painted the first pieces. It all started with a small...barely noticeable lower unit oil leak. I really hate being responsible for putting 90EP into the ecosystem. Sooooooo....I replaced the lower unit seals. I figured as long as I was doing that, I might as well do the water pump, housing and seals.

So, as long as I was already into it....the steering and controls were 30 years old and I might as well replace those too. Soooooooooooo...I figured as long as I had the motor apart anyway, I may as well clean her up and give her a new paint job. OYE!

It'll be done by May 15 no matter what. That is if I can contain my overwhelming desire to re-carpet the old boat. Oh heck...I may do it anyway ;D
