I skipped my Thursday evening "trout fish" because the rivers are just too high and brown. Watching the forecasts and judging the water levels, I'm thinking I need to fish Sunday morning before the next round of deluge kills another week. Crazy weather! Snow last Saturday, 92 today!
One more with the one we're after and we'll have two.
The brook trout is the prom queen of the trout world, and a promiscuous prom queen at that!

My backyard creek is waaaay up and mud brown. All the quick, hard rain washes the soil from the newly planted fields this time of year and turns it to chocolate milk. I was hoping to toss some flies and  collect some crayfish for bait, but, out of the question.

I'll improvise ;D

Looks like I'm in the boat again this weekend. A forecast of 2" of rain in the next 2 days  >:(.

Oh well, I've gotta work Saturday morning and I'm taking with some of the guys from work to a  Red Wings game in the afternoon.  Anyway, the boat's working great ;D
