Well this old fart went out to the creek yesterday despite the high water and stained to boot and fisked dries! Got hits on a blk. EH caddis but caught the browns(2) on a  p-red ant. Only idiot out there. And it's raining again! WOW!

As I traveled around NY today....Rochester to Waterville to Cortland to Macedon...I watched the streams go from swollen to mud brown and flooded. Man...It RAINED!

The area south of Rome over to Cortland must have gotten 2 to 3 inches.

Well, That's why I refurbished the boat ;D

It's nice to have a alternative plan to get on the water , are the ponds or lakes fishable with a fly rod with that much rain ?

Fish have to eat...... If nothing else, head for the head waters. :)
One more with the one we're after and we'll have two.

rg....what do you use for eyes, bead chain or something else?

I ties them a few diff ways...
Tied up with no eyes or weight and stripped just under the surface is killer on bass(and fall eyes ::)) The slow fall on the pause drives em nuts!
Then I do some with some meduim weight lead barbell type weights...
And finally some with a heavy cone type head and a lead wrapped body...
