Oh....don't fret. Your time will come. All too soon.

My Bride and I are official "Empty Nesters". The kids grow up. Sometimes too quickly and sometimes all too slowly. The afterlife of parenting is to be savored. Grandparenthood is even better. Time to enjoy each other, your children and your children's children.

Life is good!

Hey Trapper do i get to join the Trapper exclusive old fa~rts ? I caught my first rockbass on a flyrod today , wish i could say it was a monster fish but i can not lie it was a dink ! Just like the smallie , lm and most of the sunnies i caught to day. But all in all it was a fun day with the flyrod!!

Spent my day on the Genesee River in Allegany county.

'Nuf said?

What a great day ;D

Breakfast at Ace's Country Cupboard in Belfast.....8 hours of tromping new waters and catching smallies. I took enough flies to outfit the entirety of the Trout Unlimited membership....I used 1 fly all day long.

Seriously...I used only that 1 fly. I never changed it or the leader or tippet all day long. The thing is a smallmouth killer. Saw deer, ospey and tons of beaver tracks.

I'll be there more often.

I love my Red Truck Diesel. A truly well made reel. And....you don't have to sell the house to buy one ;D

Well.......It's a Red Truck Diesel and the fly is the one in the picture.

That smalle was a horse Dom. Especially in the deep moving water. Their heads were shaped differently than the canal and lake smallies I get.

nice report Bob; I have heard there are big bass south of Portageville in the Genny. Glad that you confirmed it again. I've only targeted trout from Filmore to Schongo especially around Scio, the biggest around 22 inches.

There was a nice hatch of Tricos around 9:30 am. I never saw a fish rise.
