Whoo-Hoo the Niagara River! Nice fish Gump, that looks like a good time. Did you build that rod?

Thanks guys.  What a beautiful place to fish.  Had a bald Eagle soaring right under the bridge too.

No didn't build the rod.  It's a Cabelas Lsi  11' #7 switch.  My big water stick.  It's been a real nice entry level switch rod for me for steelhead.  I happened to see they are about half price right now too...that always stings...

You're a fly fishing machine!

What did you get it on?

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

As strange it may sound, sucker spawn flies and glo bugs under an indicator.  We were targeting steelhead but these guys wanted to gobble our offerings.

December 6 and I was kayaking.  I'll take it.  Chased some toothy critters on fly.

Even though I get a lifetime licence in the mail every year I still stop at a local licence agent and get my syllabus and always read it...
