Old farts :rotflol:

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Bring some dry flies with ya too....just in case. Mayfly Hatches started down my way this week along with the little black caddis and stoneflies which have been coming off for awhile. Not sure what is happening up on the northern streams, but the bugs are hatching and the trout are rising down this way . 2 days ago (wed.) very good hatches of Quill Gordons , Blue Quills, along with some olives and caddis.  Had 1 of my best ever dry fly days for a  March day Wednesday in breezy conditions , trout after trout after trout took my dries and I landed a beautiful 21" rainbow that took a #18 Blue Quill and would have been a legal keeper on the Salmon River !  My little #3 weight has been getting a workout and I have been smiling all week. :D

Heres the big Rainbow from Wed.

Good luck to all you guy's going out on the opener today....and the rest of the season too.
I'm fishing my way through life .

Fine looking fish Choo Choo.

Looks like the little 3 weight could use some rehabilitation.
