My backyard stream is near being ready. And, I'll be testing the new 6 wt on the canal this weekend. Other than that, most of my time has been spent in the new "Little Wood Shop".

well as long as your having fun andeverythingis all good  ;D............... heck of a trout season out there RG .....and  I think i'll have the jon boat on the rock bass this afternoon........now seeing your working in a little wood shop we all would love to see a few of the projects and any thing to organize flie tools or materials???? ;D.......one more thing one of your leaders  has probably handled more trout then most people catch in a life time .....they are winners  RG

That's the problem with those leaders. They last too long. You only need one. I figure on including mine in my last will and testament.

trout streams were a bit high and stained over my way so I went down for some rock bass action the and yes the bite was on! ididabout ahalfbucket then said enough it was a bit rough with the jon boat and I have a feeling they will be waitting for me  ;D

well  most trout streams are high and the wind kept me off the lake  so I hit a few small waters  one by my house runs threw a field  giving mea shot with the  fly rod ,the state does put in about 4 or 5 hundred browns in this stream but I think all the brookies are native unless a accident ....rat   this one is for you ...

and the rewards  are a great diner!



pan fried trout venison back straps and saute mushrooms and  onions...it don't get any better then that  ;D

Dang Trap, that looks great. Nearly kept a few rockbass today. Problem is, I don't know if you guys are serious about them or if it's a long standing prank to get people to eat crow  :P
