Good gosh do you guys have every bug on earth on your bench?  what do you do for a musky that likes baby ducks?  spent the last few days mowing, painting porches, mowing, doing yard work, mowing, splitting wood, mowed some more, burnt some brush piles, and maybe I mowed some more?  tomorrow is DR Appt  then entertaining the wife at the mall. All fingers are crossed that Thurs I'll be on the water  really need some me time

It’s a disease……addiction…….obsession….whatever you want to call it. To me it’s much like woodworking. The mind gets to wander and every so often something unique or useful is created.

But best of all is the peace of focusing on something that’s all your own.

And the bonus is you get to go fly fishing. Win….win!
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Yup. It’s one of the reasons I like working at the golf course. I get to socialize and keep my mind thinking. Good stuff for an old fart like me.

Hey Now!
I am planning on fishing a small adirondack trout lake the following weekend?
(Siamese pond wilderness area)
Any recommendations on any particular flies to use?

Thanks in advance,

Jeremy

I’m not much of a trout fisher but I’d think some of the traditional streamer patterns would be my first choices.
Mickey Finns  would certainly be in my box and maybe some dace patterns.
