Good Luck to your wife Doug,  hope everything went well with your wife's surgery.

Just got my boat in over at Reet's yesterday, water level has def dropped in last 2 weeks.  Will try to get out Saturday.  My friend who fishes for pike has been out a few times, only got 1 fish, been slow going.

Thanks guys for the well wishes for my wife. A long 3 days in NYC but everything went OK.
When I came by the launch about 9pm last night it looked like the top of it was about 5 inches out of the water. Will check it out today.....h2l

Glad to hear things went ok!  You deserve a fat walleye or 5.

I was beat yesterday. I did drive down to the launch and it looks like they have pulled the dock up aways, it is about a foot above the water...h2l

Not sure, waiting now for when the wife will be let "out". She is doing pretty good. The boat is still in the garage but that won't take long to get ready. The lake is dropping pretty good. Last I heard it is up to 60*....h2l

I certainly understand that, take care of the little lady and give her my sincerest wishes. Maybe give it a try on the lake next week.

I fished that area Sunday night my first walleye of the season was a fat one just a tick under 20” then managed to pick up a few more keepers for a nice meal. There wasn’t much rhyme or reason to them except color. I caught them in 32,28,25 and 22 fow. This time of year is always a little tough for me until they start schooling up and get more predictable. I did go out Saturday night bow fishing and what a cool experience I enjoyed seeing all the fish as much as I did shooting at the carp .
