To help ensure our waterways remain safe and enjoyable, New York State will require all motorized boaters to take a safe boating course and earn their safe boating certificate by 2025.

and  mac is  correct  the  boat us  course is  free they  do  ask  for a 10 dollar donation to  support  the  course
you can destroy buildings  you can't  destroy the  american spirit

Driver courses and a driver license doesn’t seem to make much  difference look at all the accidents , 70 % of all boating accidents are alcohol related
Nothing wrong with the course only people that care and use common sense prevail

I’ve boated all my life.
Owned over 2 dozen boats.
This was the 3rd time I took the course.
I always learn something new.

You will get what you want out of it.
Or you won’t.

I did mine online.. you could do the course at your leisure as long as you passed the test at end of each section..  I don't rememeber the cost but it was minimal!!!
Boatusa..

No way I want to sit in a classroom

It was at a random hotel in Windsor...I remember taking the test as quickly as I could to get out of there.

I wonder if you have to get the jetski endorsement in NY.
