King lake
« on: May 02, 2023, 08:50 AM »
This King lake is just a few miles south of MAXI. I've been told its very good fishing for Quality fish, not numbers. Anyone have experience they care to share. Pm
's welcomed. I mostly fish the smaller public lakes in my 8ft pelican and this one looks to be the right size. Hr and half drive makes it not my first choice.

BigR I hunt the areas just to the east of Kings lake. The locals have always told me that it was contaminated from the old landfill across the road. So I've never tried it. Drove there 1 time in the winter. A couple guys ice fishing but they were pretty tight lipped. But good luck let me know if you try it.

Thanks, I've been watching this site for a while. Just never had anything to add. I enjot your RES reports. Although I've not been there. That area has been very good for me. Been deer hunting the same woods for 30 some years now.
I'm still a big lake guy but I & my wife really enjoy the small lake fishing.
