Fish Pond Follies
« on: Oct 08, 2023, 04:23 PM »
I had a full dance card today, but managed to squeeze in a a little fishing with my buddy Bob this morning.

I needed to stay local, the DFW had just stocked Fish Pond (a/k/a Windsor Lake) in North Adams earlier in the week, and Bob had never fished there before, so we agreed to meet up around 9:45 AM this morning.

The weather was mostly cloudy (although it started to clear up later on) and cool (about 57 degrees).

Bob was a few minutes late, so I started without him, and stayed till about noon, and we did pretty well overall.

Together, we landed a few rainbows (12" to 16"), a few perch (11" - 13"), a few (9") sunfish and a single (12") L/M bass before I had to go.

Not bad for a little over two hours on a Sunday morning.

(Bob stayed, and my younger son arrived just as I was leaving, but I don't know how they did).
