Sayers lake
« on: May 17, 2010, 02:14 PM »
I was at Sayers Lake on Mon., 10 May. There was a cold front came in Sun. evening, 30's Sun. evening, 40's in the morning but we deceided to go any ways. Drove the 2 hours from the Harrisburg area and upon arrival found strond wind on the lake and not one vehicle w/ trailer in the launch lot. NOT GOOD. Launched anyway and started catching crappies on the second cast at the first spot stoped. That continued all day. Fishing was GREAT. Most were between 8-9 inches, not real big but we ahd lots of fun justing catching fish. All fish caught are still in the lake, or were when we left. I think crappies are great table fare and am not oposed to keeping a few for the table bbut that day we just caught fish and had a blast.
I know there is another post about Sayers and there has been over 2200 views, just thought I'd start a new one and hopefully get recent replies/reports.
