WTG!!! Nice catch there..... I been doing fairly well also. Been getting on the big bull gills in the shallows already. Had 4 yesterday that where over 10".

Are you getting them on a wet fly?   Been picking up a few on 16th oz. crappie jigs while  nailing the slab Crappies.

Another real windy day on the lake today.  Here is 12 of the 32 gills caught today  Gave the rest to neighbors.  No crappies today.

Got a limit of big gills today in the rain in Southern Michigan.  Can't beat it....

Hi Everyone,..............It has been a while since I have posted.  The last time I was out was the middle of June.  My mother that has lived with me for 3 1/2 years took a turn for the worse about 4 months ago and passed Aug. 6th.  She is in a better place now without any pain.  I finally got out Sept. 2nd and it sure felt good to be back on the water catching a nice mess of gills to eat and they sure battled good on ultra light gear.  I hope to get plenty of open water fishing in before the ice comes on.  Tightlines everyone.
