Caught 2 perch one measured 12 1/2 inches. The largest one I have caught from Bass. The day wasn't complete till I caught 1 silver, 1 crappie and a 15 inch eye. I will never know what the one was that broke my rotten line when I set the hook. I put new on today. I think it was only 2#test. It was a balmy 38 degrees at 5:30 am.

Dude you are a diehard. I'm waiting until it warms up a little. And hopefully will pick up an outboard this week.

No walleye today. However, did catch my first ever flathead, another cat a silver and largemouth bass and 3 crappie. Lake was like glass.

Only was for a couple days. This job is day by day. Everyday I have to call in and see if there is any work for the following day. More time to fish.

Sounds like what my brother does. Are you working through a temp service?

It is a industrial cleaning outfit. The jobs are as needed. No set schedule may be 8 hours to 80 hours a week. All depends on what and when the work gets called for.

Got out with Gartoon on Saturday and tore them up!  The mix of temps, cloud cover, and wind made for a truly great day of fishing.  We ended up with 6 keepers and a bunch of short fish that will be ready for ice season.  Had to battle the wind out there, but it was worth it!  20"+ was the top fish and we definitely left them biting.  Was a part of my first ever walleye triple!  Landing 3 walleyes simultaneously in the boat was worth the whole trip.

Good job. What depth was best?

Good job. What depth was best?

Drifting along some of the shallow breaks. 4-6ft is where most of the active fish were biting.

Crawler rigs and jigs were the hot ticket.
