Over the years I’ve landed two 12#at 32” one was in Canada and an 11# at 31 and a 29 1/4 ,around 9-10# all went back except the 11#er it was  during a tourney  but those are not my favorite pics,
1 with a couple of buds fishing Erie in Ohio Few years back with smaller eyes , you might recognize the pirates on each side of me ,😉
to me it is more about the great memories than the size and looking forward to the  future with all my fishing friends , not that catching big fish is a bad thing 😉 🎣

No wonder you're so d**n good at catching eyes...you've fished with the best...I recognize Gary Roach and not sure about the other guy...is that Gary Parsons?

That is Todd frank I’ve have known him and his family my whole life ,he’s a tackle rep these days , I’m lucky as I get to see many products before they hit I-cast
Far as good lol without luck it doesn’t happen , , i know lots of very successful fisherman and I’m proud to say  most are members of these 2 sites , and get to read about other successful fishermen around the country and I enjoy the pics

Todd would stop into the bait shop when I worked there. Lots of knowledge (now I know where he got it) and not afraid to pass it on. At the time he was a rep for 13 Tackle....h2l

I read an article a few years back about a 36" eye. If there are 36"ers I don't see how there can't be 40"ers. C&R big fish so they can get huge. Here is a link to the article, the pictures don't look like a 36" fish in my opinion but that's what the article said. https://www.google.com/amp/s/articles.syracuse.com/outdoors/index.ssf/2015/08/was_monster_walleye_caught_and_released_on_hemlock_lake_a_state_record.amp

That fish looks really old. I don’t think it looks 36” though. I guess it’s possible the tape said 36” since it was suspended by the other fisherman, “taped while holding in under a minute”. Just seems like a good/bad self promoter to me.

Freddie  I was  going to tell people  if  you get a  14 and a  half inch  wallet  you  can  step on his head and  he'll measure  15  but some  people would take that the  wrong way ...............

bye the  way  guys   record  fish  are  by weight  length means  nothing

Top 2 in the contest today were over 40. One 23+ and the other 22+. My cousin took second place, 22 3/8 inches. Biggest pike was just over 40 inches. Same fishermen won biggest pike and walleye. It was the only walleye he caught today...h2l
