Bad move by the Canucks

looks like sneaky Mike Keenan is up to his old tricks...fleecing another GM..lol....what a bonehead move by Vancouver...they just signed Luongo to a multi-year deal that Florida was not willing to do...and gave up Bertuzzi (no loss there with all the baggage), but gave up a goalie who at least got them near the playoffs (Auld) and a great young blueliner (Allan)....Luongo is grossly over-rated but granted does have the occassional lucky game or two....wont be long into the season before Vancouver is scratching their heads trying to figure out how to unload a contract that nobody else will assume....just watch and see....Grump ::) ::)

I;m going to have to disagree with you on this Grump...........Luongo may be overrated but he is by far a  superior goalie to Clutier. Hands down..........this move makes them more dangerous.

Bertuzzi is also a loss, he has heart, grit and scoring power.....Allan was a loss as well (Kingston Boy) good young defence man............So the trade may not have been perfect but they have improved there goaltending situation.

I dont think that any additions can quarantee a cup...ask Ottawa and Dom
