feeder canal

going to go up to rock falls  and try the canal this week, for crappie...

Talked to a guy the other day that caught some at the visitors center at sheffield.  He said they were all decent sized for the canal.

He was using live bait.  He was after the trout they put into the lagoon at the visitors center

no crappie at the feeder canal...caught around 20 at borrow pit...up in the flooded willows...all small no keepers... guy caught 2 stripers at the canal...1 average,1 around 16 in... best one I have seen caught there in years...

I am going to hit the main channel probably sun.  Got a tourney there in 2 weeks.  I am going to take my crappie fishing stuff in case i find some  while looking for the bass.

tried the feeder canal again at rock falls...no luck...heard the local bass club had small tourn....miss.pool 13...on 4-12...nobody had a keeper....

I went to the main channel and probably had 10lbs of bass in 3hrs.  My bro had a tourney at miss pool 13 today just have not heard how anyone faired.
