Went to college at UWSP in the early 90's and spent my fair share (all of!) my time walleye fishing below the Du Bay dam, off Bukolt Park, and a few miles downstream of the Hwy. 10 bridge at the boat landing off river road. It's been several years since I've been back but I always said that someday I would. Was wondering if anyone has been fishing the Wisconsin in or near Stevens Point yet and how it's been going.
Best fish our band of merry men ever caught was a 8lb., 26" 'eye--also caught several slab 12-14" crappie, but back in the day they smelled like a paper mill. Anything changed?
