what's biting?
« on: Jun 08, 2004, 08:27 AM »
I am planning to come to VT this weekend through middle of next week.  The lakes I normally fish are Lake Dunmore and Lake Bomoseen. I would also like to try Chittenden Reservoir and Glen Lake.  As I've posted before, I'm still learning the area.  I am mostly interested in trout and salmon but I am planning to also fish for bass and pike a little, plus walleye at chittenden since I've heard there are a lot of them in there.  Does anyone know what is biting???  Any pointers?

I was on Chittenden on the 30th and I only had one bass hit.  The water is colder up there so that may have something to do with it.  Haven't been to Dunmore this year, and Bomoseen has been slow for me, but who know's now.

Good luck, let us know how you do.

Thanks LBD.  It looks like my trip will have to wait until next weekend (6-19-04) b/c of work obligations.  I'll post reports.
