Trooling for Muskies

Fish in Indiana for Muskies but had my first treat fishing for lakers, coho and kings on Lake Michigan. we trolled with planer boards and outriggers. My question is does anybody utilize planner boards and such when trolling for Muskie??

we troll em' in spring with a heavy rod and line with a shallow diving floating rapala in fire tiger. they come up for it and alot of them suspend in deep water that time of year.
