Mill River

 the Georgia town access to Mill River parking area is real busy ....you can catch about anything there this time of year. Plus it's a nice place for a walk .

They stock steelhead every year there, nothing to brag about, no trophies, just small-stockies.
Can get decent bass/pike/panfish too.

I remember when it flooded it was awesome for panfish, could hardly see the water thru them. Pike was great then too.
Boaters could really access from the bay way up into the area and hammered pike.

along time ago a friend and I went up the river in a canoe around the middle of May . We caught bass pike seeds carp and the first time I ever caught crappie  It was a great day of fishing
