Nice looking ride. But isn't sand kind of yellow/tan/beige? That looks grey?

Just checked again.
You are correct.

It's cactus grey.

Way back I was looking at another vehicle and the color of that one was (something) sand.

Lol

I reread that earlier this morning.
I certainly didn’t write that with the intention it came across as.  So I removed it as you saw.  Then got to thinking more on the color.
So I went to the Ford website and saw you were right.

Happy Sunday.

All good. I had a good laugh. Enjoy your new truck. I'm too cheap to ever buy anything new. I've drove beaters my entire life.

Picked up the Ranger today.
It’s nice.
Smaller than the F150 and definitely lighter in the back end.
I need to get used to it but I like it.
Will fit our new lifestyle better than the larger truck.  Rated to tow 7500, just like the F150 was.  But it’s 2WD as the F150 was 4WD.  I had Ford install the electronic locking differential in the rear end to help at the slippery launch ramps.
The B/O sound system rocks!!

Thanks guys.

I think I'm going to build 1 or 2 surf casting rods.

I have a few rods that I have used in the past for this, but they are catfishing rods really.
Good saltwater rods, but not the greatest for casting in the surf.

Nice truck Mac. Congrats!  Huge fan of the surf rod idea.  Have a few customs myself.  3 built on rainshadow blanks and one on a odm blank (my favorite 11' 5-10oz)

Everything going south is packed and in the garage.
Man, we have a lot of crap!!!
We made well over two dozen trips to Goodwill.  Not to mention the ton of things we gave away and tossed to the curb each week.
Anyway, I pick up a Uhaul enclosed trailer early tomorrow morning.  My new BIL and a customer/friend are stopping by to help Donna and I load everything from the garage into the trailer.
My truck is packed as well as Donna’s Escape SUV.
The plan is to get things loaded, and then grab an early lunch at Charlie the Butcher’s up at the corner so we can get on the road by noon or before.
First day is only 5-5.5 hrs to Columbus, OH.  Some guys I’ve worked along with from Honeywell are meeting us for a small party they are giving Donna and I.
Then Tuesday we travel just south of Knoxville to have dinner with guy and his wife that I went through school with.  Should be fun.
Third day we go to Valdosta, GA to spend the night.
Fourth day on to our new home.
A relatively slow paced 4 day trip down.
We did it this way because Donna is nervous driving a long trip like this.
She will be fine.
Long time coming.
Right now I’m watching some golf on the tube and taking a break.
Jeff is getting some Korean Chicken Wings for dinner.  He leaves later tonight for a jobsite in PA.
