Mowbizz, I have found tandems do well early, and late in the year on Winni. Mostly spring time though, tandems on fly lines can be super effective.I also picked up/was gifted two of the G2jiggers for Xmas. Very excited, and yes thank you for the bonus flys as well! I will be placing another order before spring to get some more patterns. The feathers on one of the “merry Christmas” flys I got in the jiggers box had the highest quality feathers/crops I have ever seen. I am almost scared to run it in the water, but it would be a shame not to.I’m with you MB on the speed, but my biggest pet peeve when trolling is to switch up tactics when it’s not working. For that reason I am very much looking forward to running at the higher speeds suggested. When the bite “is on” I’m looking forward to bumping the speeds and getting these figured out.You can never have too many “tools” in the toolbox when you’re trolling in my opinion. At least the days I don’t catch fish I feel good about trying new stuff out and learning more with those experiments.
I try to think about what I can control, and either vary or repeat depending on success.
Words to live by.Or as Carlin put it“Don’t sweat the petty things and don’t pet the sweaty things”
My good god, please, PLEASE don't look up skijiggers on youtube!! Ugggggg, where is the eye bleach!
I don't think people are getting the same search results as me. The search results for "jiggers" is like something out of a medical manual. Jiggers are some kind of foot issue, a sand flea or something that gets under the skin and makes boils or something. Almost made me puke!DO NOT SEARCH SKI JIGGERS ON YOUTUBE!!!!!!!!!
