got some more pics..been off all week to do some fishing and turkey hunting...pretty sucsesfull all around this week. this is my girlfriend who was super happy with her first fly rod brown trout...nothing huge..but you cant beat the moment.

these are birds we got the second day of our season...me(left) 19.9 lbs...1 1/4" spurs both..and 3 beards ..main beard 10 3/4 second beard 8 1/4  and 3rd 5 1/8..national wild turkey federation score of 92.5...7th all time in mich(multibeards) and number 1 oakland county...my buddy (right) also got one hell of a bird 22lbs 10 3/4 inch beard and 1 1/8 spurs...good day id say..public land also

ok...went out do do some carp'n...lol... i normally shoot them with my bow..but a buddy convinced me to go after some spawning fish with my fly rod.. after many failed attempts..i finally got one. nothing huge..but on a 6 wieght fly rod.. it felt like a whale.

got some good walleye on saturday as well..will post as soon as i get my picture disk

nice going there bud!  i got one like that on an ultralight trout rod last year, on the fly has gotta be even better
