Did You Ever Notice?
Further musings of a fisherman
The fish are always on the other side of the creek
You never seem to have enough fishing stuff
Fishing boats grow an average of 2 feet every 4 years
The worst fishing trips are planned to the last detail
The log over the creek you're crossing is never quite wide enough
You never make a bad cast until another fisher steps into sight
Short cuts to your fishing hole always take 3 times as long
Boat motors work flawlessly until you take a buddy with you
Fish always start biting when you're supposed to leave
The best fishing trips are spontaneous
Fish grow by 2 inches every time you tell the story of the one that got away
There are more carp than trout in most trout streams
The truth seldom gets in the way of a good fishing story
Fishing is always better when you steal a day from work
It's hard to look sick the next day when you had so much fun fishing
You always remember your sunblocker till you steal a day from work to fish
The lights on your boat trailer work fine until the trooper pulls out behind you
Canoes will appear without fail the moment you decide to take a skinny dip
You never see a biting bug till you leave your bug juice home
Fishing is ALWAYS better than working
Napping by a stream is as peaceful as life gets

They call it fishing, not catching, for a reason

Yes. At one time or another, have noticed all these things.

Nice one RG
now, if only you could add somewhere these three lines:
1) fishing at your favorite hole is fast until you bring someone along
2) The fish are always in the hardest-to-reach spots
3) The fish always bites when your not paying attention

Nice
. Couldn't be more true. Especially about casting perfect untill another angler shows up.
All things only a fisherman/woman would know.

Your line is snagged in the only spot just over the tops of your waders
There are more ice fishing shows televised during the summer than during the winter
The one thing you left home is what you needed from the tackle box

You move from the spot you were fishing for trout because you were not catching anything, then some clown moves in where you were and catches a monster, on a bass lure...***censored****

You meet a guy coming off the ice and ask about the fishing and he says "boy you should have been here yesterday"

Did you ever notice that the one day you have a chance to go fishing is the one day that the weather is nasty!
