Stripers
« on: Aug 11, 2019, 10:05 AM »
I fished both Saturday and Sunday morning . I landed 2 short Stripers on Saturday. Sean landed 3 , he kept a 29”. Today I was back at it. I was able to jig up some lively pollack .My first Striper I hooked into was a keeper but couldn’t stick the landing . It pulled the hook after 3 attempts landing on the rocks. The next 2 were 22” and 24”. I had a fish grab my bait right before I was going to go home. My balloon went under and took off like it meant business. It was digging deep and it gave me a good battle. I got it up on the rocks and measured at 33”-34”. Had some other fisherman take my picture for me then I released the fatty.

Randall, Fishing for Stripe Bass is addicting. Trout and Salmon are fun too but the thrill of landing larger fish is Awesome!

Very nice!
