It's absurd here in Indiana.  Never seen anything like it.

I think a lot of people drove out of the Rochester area once they saw it was going to be overcast and headed west where the clouds are breaking. If I was an eclipse fanatic, that’s what I would have done.

An eagle flew over us just before the total eclipse. I wish I got a pic of that. Some good sized groups of people on the North Shore.

I sat on the driving range at the turning stone and watched all but 5 minutes of the first half. A big dark cloud came over and the show was done. What lousy luck.

I had a tom turkey cross the property just before the eclipse. No hens with him.

The eclipse was anticlimactic for me. 98.5 totality allegedly but it didn't seem to get very dark.

90ish percent in CT.  My daughter got home with her glasses right as it was peaking.  I took a look, pretty cool.  She was into it.

friend said the perch bite got great during it fishing the south shore.
We hit Beak and Skiff and the bourbon was good both before, during and after. Cool watching the darkness come across the valley with a sunrise sky in the east rather than the setting in the west it should have been.

It was too cloudy in the SO Tier.  got a little darker for a few mins, birds and squirrels stayed on the feeders without reaction......

We had an eagle fly right over us about 50 feet above us as well at my house just before the total eclipse happened! I’m guessing it was the same eagle. It was headed from the lake and heading north.
Nice job findin em
