Title: Lost my Fishing Buddy today. :(
Post by: SizeMatters on Jun 23, 2018, 07:53 PM: It is with great sorrow and a very heavy heart I report my friend Larry passed away this morning. He was my little brother who followed me on my adventures. He was my big brother who dragged me along on his. He was my woods wise uncle. He was my mentor, teacher, and student. He was my "fishing buddy" He was our friend, our family, our "Larry". Rest in peace the "King of Puns", Larry Hilderbrant.

Some of you may have known him, he seemed to know everyone, every where we went. lol
Picture here teaching his grandson and I fly tying techniques last month. Yeah, cancer sucks.

Condolences to you and his family and friends. Sounds as he was a great friend. Take solace in his passing that you were fortunate enough to have known him and shared his great wisdoms of life . I am sorry I did not get to meet him. I pray his many life stories will live on in you and all that knew him. Larry Hilderbrant, rest in peace.
