Call the park and/or DNR and they will tell you. ASK FIRST, no need to go to jail over some carp.

Bowfishing is a BLAST. I went with a friend this spring and he let me shoot his backup bow. Now I'm selling some excess fishing equipment on ebay to get some cash to buy my own. Cant wait to get out and hunt some carp!

Remember the term: refraction. The water will make the light rays bend a little. Shoot lower than you expect. Be sure of the shot. Have fun.

35-50 is what I see. The norm being 40 or 45.

Thanks for the info. It's something I have always wanted to try. I guess I'd have to crank down my 73#

If you get good at it and want tot try something a little more challenging: FROGS!!! One guy lights the eyes the other shoots for right below the eyes.

You can use 73# if you want... but if you miss your going to throw your arrow into the bottom a foot and probably break the arrow.
