My lady and I vacation in ausable forks every year first week in july.. i can't say i go there to fish but we definitely wet a line 3 or 4 times while we are there.. the mighty ausable is a beautiful place and there's quite a bit of history to learn about it as well.. I have caught a few trout while there but nothing of size..(im not a trout fisherman) we bring a coleman raft n paddles and a cooler n just float the days away on a bunch of the Adirondack bodies of water.. franklin falls pond, upper and lower cascades, fern lake, taylor pond and a few others.. we travel quite a bit and this is still our favorite vacation
