Quabbin Slam!!
« on: Sep 11, 2018, 04:53 PM »
Hit the Q with Allan last Sunday.

With overcast skies and winds predicted to be around 5mph, we figured it would be a good day. While we did have overcast skies, the wind was way off, with a steady 15+ mph all day.

Allan cleaned up completing the Quabbin slam, landing a laker, rainbow, and a very nice 4.8lb Male Salmon.

I had a laker myself and lost what looked like a salmon that was able to shake the hook on a jump.

It sure was nice to get out after a busy month.

Doesn’t get much better than that congrats.
I fish for those "stupid fish" BASS. Largemouth Smallmouth Stripers, and even Rock bass.

That’s an awesome salmon! Way to beat out the tough conditions for the payoff.

Nice fish. Looks like that salmon is starting to get those fall colors?

Very nice salmon! I’m going to be chasing the natives here soon, just hope to hook up at least once this year.
