Help charging a deep cycle battery
«

I just bought a new deep cycle battery. I was wondering what is the proper way to charge it. Should I run it down low then charge it or use it for a little(1-2 hours) and then charge it and repeat? What is the best way to make my battery last and charging it?
Thanks

Keep them highly charged. Deep cycle batteries have better recovery than normal lead acid batteries, but you still do not want to leave them in a low charge status for extend periods.
